Flights to United States

The United States of America is a country located almost entirely in North America, also encompassing territories such as Alaska, Hawaii, and several islands in the Caribbean. The country borders three oceans: the Atlantic, Arctic, and Pacific. Initially inhabited by indigenous peoples, the American territory became known to Europe after Christopher Columbus’s expeditions. During the 15th and 16th centuries, North America was colonized by the British, Spanish, and French. The United States declared its independence in 1776 and became one of the most influential nations in the world during the 20th century.
